The Youth Club at Craigmore Methodist Church was started in 1983, and it's still going strong! We meet at 7.45pm almost every Friday evening from September to June, with special events (especially Easter Camp) throughout the year and a fun-filled Summer programme...
So, what happens on a 'normal' night at Craigmore Youth Club? The hall is free for uni-hoc or football up to 8.15pm, then the pool tables and table tennis table are brought out. Upstairs you'll find the tuck shop, sofas and Playstation (dance mats seem to be the most popular thing at the moment!). We finish the evening with a thought for the weekend. Once a month we head to the Antrim Forum for swimming, squash, badminton, football and unihoc. But Youth Club is so much more than equipment and a varied programme... We hope it's a place where you'll want to meet your friends and have a laugh in a safe environment (we're a drug-free zone). Add to that the wonderful leaders, and you've got a pretty fantastic way to spend your Friday evenings! Every other week, there's a coffee bar for people in year 12+, running from 10pm to midnight. It's a chillout, relaxed time for chatting and laughing! There's a bit more about it HERE. On Sunday evenings we meet as G-Force Cells - a bit of space to eat, laugh, worship God, share God's story and support each other - more on G-Force HERE. We've been to loads of places, done tons of things... Have a breeze through the next few pages of photos, see if you can spot yourself!
