the motorsport industry, DJ Racecars now have an enviable reputation for building
giant-killing racing cars. The latest development is a new version of the award winning DJ-ADS1 single seat racer - the FIREHAWK. This new car employs a "Carbon Fibre" monocoque 'tub' in place of the traditional space frame design. These cars are designed to compete in a variety of hillclimb, sprint and circuit racing events. The ever popular "FireCat" (DJ-ADS3). This twin seater race car saw its official unveiling at the AutoSport International 2000 show at the NEC, Birmingham (U.K.), to much acclaim. This car employs the successful well proven running gear from the DJ-ADS1 & the FIREHAWK. Being offered for both competition and road use, should make this a popular choice with many motoring enthusiasts. DJ Racecars also manufacture a highly regarded range of carbon-fibre composite aerofoils/wings, both finished bolt on units and as a 'kits of parts'. The designer of these aerofoils is Simon McBeath author of "Competition Car Downforce". The first DJ Racecar, the motorbike engined DJ-ADS1 single seater, has won some notable victories. These have included, at its first event one outright course record and two fastest times of the day (FTDs). These cars are designed to compete in a variety of hillclimb, sprint and circuit racing events.
