You must pick a team of 9 riders using the selection criteria outlined below. They will score points based on their real-life performance in the Tour de France (see scoring system, below). Only one team per player. Enter your team using the official ENTRY FORM following the team composition rules set down below. Only entries which use the official form will be accepted!Your riders will score points based on a number of criteria set down in the scoring system. As in the real-life event, unfortunately we do not have the complete freedom to select a super-squad of Armstrongs, Belokis and Zabels. Therefore, there are 3 important conditions imposed on your team selection. - The riders have been split into 9 groups, based on their prospective abilities. You must select select one rider from each of the groups. - You MUST also select 1 (and only 1) designated Sprinter for your team. All sprinters are contained in Groups A-C. It is illegal to start the race with 0 designated sprinters, or build a team with 2 or more sprinters. - You may not pick more than 2 riders from any real-life team. - If one or more of your riders do not start the Tour, he will be replaced with the next rider from the rider list. Alternatively, you may email me (at george@velogames.com) a replacement (from the same group!) by 1200 hrs Sunday, as long as the replacement did not score any points during the Prologue Time Trial.
