Buffet Supper Our buffet supper at Faversham last September was well
supported, with nearly fifty members being present. Vicky
Shepherd, who not only arranged the catering but also
traveled to The food
was, as usual, exemplary and was thoroughly enjoyable.
The entertainment was of the highest order with five
members of Rochester Cathedral’s Special Choir singing
for us. They were Rosemary Clemence, Rachel Curtis, Susan
Brock, Chris Clemence and Brian Gipps who directed them.
Their music, beautifully sung, ranged from the sacred to
the secular. We were
particularly pleased to welcome Reg. Adams with his wife
Brenda who have, regrettably because of health problems,
not been able to get along to so many meetings recently.
Reg, in his own inimitable style, gave a vote of thanks
to our performers and organizers in the unfortunate
absence of our President who had been brought down by a
tummy bug. |
