2.30pm  King Charles the Martyr. Welcome by Rupert Presto-Bell, Director of Music.

Directions: King Charles the Martyr in in the Pantiles, off London Road. Vale Road Methodist Church is on the Vale Road/London Road junction. Car Park at Railway Station near Methodist Church. Suggest walking to the first church.

OSPRINGE, STALISFORD AND OTTERDEN - SATURDAY 21 APRIL

2.00pm  St. Peter & St.  Paul's Church, Ospringe. Talk and demonstration of organ by member, Vicky Shephard.

3.15pm  St. Mary's Church, Stalisfield, Member, Malcolm Hall to talk and demonstrate organ.

4.00pm  St. Lawrence's Church, Otterden (private chapel). Malcolm Hall again!

4.30pm  Tea at member, Jane baker's, Hurst farm, Otterden. See the cattle - bring your wellies!

Directions: Ospringe is off the A2 just west of Faversham. Turn up Water Lane (by Maison Dieu) and the church is about half a mile up. Park on green.

MAIDSTONE, ALL SAINTS CHURCH - SATURDAY 19 MAY 2nd ORGAN FESTIVAL - PLEASE SUPPORT THE DAY

10.00am  Competition starts. Awards by David Flood followed by performances by winners and runners-up.

12.30pm  Lunch available.

2.30pm    Performances by winners followed by an Instrumental Concert.

3.45pm    Afternoon Tea

BROADSTAIRS and ST PETER’S, THANET– SATURDAY 13 OCTOBER
2.00 pm          The Vale URC, Broadstairs.   Talk about organ by Roger Greensted and members to play.
3.15 pm          St Peter’s Church, Thanet.  Walker organ.   Talk and demonstration by Desmond Harvey (organist).4.30 pm          Tea.

                        Presentation on history of church and area.

 Take A255 into Broadstairs.  Turn right into Queens Road.   The Vale is 4^th turning right.    Parking difficult.     Other instructions on the day.

 HUNTON and TESTON – SATURDAY 10 NOVEMBER.
2.30 pm          St Mary’s Church, Hunton.  Talk and organ demonstration (2 manual Willis) by Philip Moore
                      (organist).                
3.30 pm          St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Teston.   Talk and organ demonstration.   
4.15 pm          Tea.
5.00 pm          “The Abolition of Slavery”.   Talk by Dawn Page.

 St Mary’s Church is best reached by turning right off the A229      towards Coxheath on the B2163 and turning left
at Hunton Hill. The church is on the left.    Parking on road.

TONBRIDGE SCHOOL CHAPEL – SATURDAY 12  JANUARY 2008
3.00  pm         Tonbridge School Chapel.  Talk and organ demonstration by Organ Scholar.
                       Followed by tea and opportunity for members to play. Possible talk on history of School.
                       Parking in school grounds.    Details nearer the time.

CANTERBURY – SATURDAY 16 FEBRUARY
2.00 pm          Meet at Eastbridge Hospital (Hospital of St Thomas the Martyr) opposite the Weavers by bridge in
                       High Street.    Tour of Hospital and Greyfriars (both optional).     Small donation.
3.15 pm          Cathedral Evensong.
4.00 pm          Voluntary and opportunity to visit organ gallery and perhaps play.
5.00 pm          St Paul’s Church, Canterbury for tea.
5.45 pm          Talk by Martin Taylor (author of book “The Cradle of English Christianity”).

 Please use park and ride into the City.    From A28 (Sturry), A28 (from Chilham) and A2 from Bridge or Wincheap.   £2 per car, available until 7.30 pm.
