We will collect you from your cruise ship, in the port of Southampton, just after breakfast and take you inland to such places as

  • Salisbury and Salisbury Cathedral -
  • Stonehenge -
  • Avebury where you will see the largest stone circle in the world measuring about 1.3km in diameter -
  • Fishbourne to see the spectacular mosiacs laid by the Romans when they built a Palace for a local King -
  • Bosham Church where Harold prayed in 1064 before sailing across the channel to meet Duke William of Normandy who two years later fought Harold at the Battle of Hastings to become known as William the Conqueror -
  • Chichester Cathedral -
  • Singleton and the most amazing museum of ancient houses, dating from 12 century, that have been saved from destruction by being dismantled moved to Singleton restored and re-assembled. Walk into authentic 14th, 15th, 16th century houses and see how people lived.
  • And of course, see some of the beautiful countryside and picturesque villages snuggling amongst the hills.
    And maybe stop for lunch in a local pub.
