WW2 - War Week 2 Days (+1 Day of Peace)
Tour from the UK

A rare opportunity to join Normandy Safaris for a mid-Week break (3 Nights/4 Full Days) to include part of the D-Day Beaches and view the Battlefield of the Final Battle of Normandy the Battle of the Falaise/Chambois Gap & the 'Polish Battlefield.' where 10,000 German soldiers perished in four days. A killing field that can only be compared with Stalingrad.

Spend the week with Normandy Safaris. You will stay in 3*** star accommodation barely two miles from Hill 262 - "Maczuga" - the Polish Battlefield. We shall visit the site and its associated museum, and will follow the narrow tract of land that was afforded the terrible name 'the Corridor of Death'.
