The Rotary Club of Keynsham Chew Valley About our Club |
The Rotary Club of Keynsham Chew Valley meets at the Chew
Valley Restaurant, Charlton Road, Keynsham every Monday evening
at 7.30pm.
Keynsham is small town located in the south-west
of England, almost exactly mid-way between the cities of Bristol
and Bath. The main road between the two cities, the A4, passes by
the town on the Keynsham by-pass, but prior to its building
(1970?) the A4 passed through the town itself. The River Avon passes by on the
outskirts of Keynsham and is joined by the river Chew, which
flows through centre of the town. The town is located in the unitary authority area of
Bath and North East Somerset.
The Club received its charter on 30th. April 1984, and aims to support local causes as well as those in the third world countries. (See "What we're doing")
