St. John's Building Plan and Appeal

BUILDING PROJECT

The plans are in the porch, planning permission has been given, the Diocesan Advisory Committee have given their approval, Faculty is applied for, tenders will be invited shortly and we shall see the bricks and mortar rising from the ground!
We have managed to raise quite a lot of money and we shall be applying for grants BUT we need everyone to help RAISE money towards the project, or people to make donations. Already people are coming up with ideas to do this and that's great.
The Church Wardens and Revd Linda have met and formed two new committees for the project and invited people to join them:
Building Committee to oversee the actual building works, the members of this are:

Fund raisers Co-ordination Group
to literally co-ordinate fund raising :
They WILL NOT be responsible for raising the money on their own, or organising all fund raising ideas!! They will be seeking grants, and will support ideas with the printing of posters and tickets etc. if needed. They will also manage the parish diary, so that fund raising ideas are reasonably spaced out. The members of this group are:

Terry Murray,
Norman Potter.
It will be helpful for church members wishing to organise an event - from a coffee morning to a parachute jump ( not me!) - if they could advise the group so we can keep a note of what is happening. Official posters will be available if anyone would like to have them.
So thinking caps on!
