The Queenswell History! |

My wife Chris and I have been breeding and showing English Cocker Spaniels for about 13 years now!
I spent much of my childhood with my
fathers English Springer Spaniels that were trained to the gun. They were wonderful intelligent beasts, but they had to be "worked" as they got easily bored, they loved nothing better than to dive into a pond of chilly water, retrieve a duck and present
it to my dad for a kind word and a clap on the head.
Only Recently I found out that when I was around 3 years old my mum and dad had a cocker from the famous "Weirdene" kennel owned by Richmond Weir who still shows to this day and has had many
Show Champion dogs in his time. |

Presently we reside in a small Scottish village called Padanaram (which is Pronounced - Pad an arm, or as it is called locally Paddy!), which
is in the North East of Scotland and is just 3 miles West from Forfar, Angus on the A926.
It is also not too far from Kirriemuir, where J. M. Barrie of "Peter Pan" fame, was born and also Glamis Castle the scene for the "Scottish" play by
Shakespear!
We have included a map of the area so you can see where we are, also some photos of the surrounding area, which we hope you find interesting. |

When we got married, Chris and I decided we would like a dog as a pet, Chris never having had a pet was a bit unsure of dogs, as she had been
bitten three times in her younger life, but when we met Kassie for the first time, we just fell in love with her, she was so sweet and gentle.
It was Kassie's breeder Mr Don Noble, who introduced us to showing Kassie and from there the story,
starts! |
