The counterfeit Clash

COUNTERFEIT CLASH McChuill's
THIS was no stilted performance like some tribute bands offer. In fact, what impressed most about the Counterfeit Clash was that, despite having now played these songs so many times, they displayed the same raw energy and passion onstage that set the real Clash apart from their contemporaries.
The set-list didn't consist only of the obvious Clash favourites such as Rock the Casbah, Should I Stay Or Should I Go, and I Fought The Law - though they were all there - but also included lesser known numbers.
Benefiting from the fact that each member of the band is a genuinely talented musician, The Counterfeit Clash offers up a credible taste of punk's heady days for those who missed it, or just want to relive it. (Neil Cumming in Glasgow Evening Times / Times Out Supplement 14/11/2)
