Two fine choral works launch the Royston Choral Society’s new season of concerts for music lovers in North Herts, South Cambridgeshire and villages on the Essex border.
On Saturday 23 November, the choir once again team up with the talented musicians of the Broxbourne Sinfonia to perform J S Bach’s Magnificat and Haydn’s lesser known ’Harmonie’ Mass. The concert at Royston Parish Church starts at 7.30pm.
Four weeks later, on Saturday 21 December also at 7.30pm, the choir will return to the Parish Church for a concert of Christmas music; a new venture for an expanding choir which is going from strength to strength.
Tickets for the both concerts will be on sale from Royston Library in advance, or on the door on the night, price £8 (concessions £5, ‘still at school’ £1)
