New year, new hobby? Following a successful Christmas concert, the first in their history, the Royston Choral Society are inviting would-be new members to join them for the choir's first rehearsal of 2003 on Tuesday 7 January.
The special 'open rehearsal', which starts at 8pm in Royston Parish Church, is an informal opportunity to discover the delights of singing in a mixed voice choir. There are no auditions, and singers of all ages are welcome to come along and 'have a go' with no obligation to join.
Those who decide to come back for further rehearsals (Tuesday evenings from 8 - 10pm) can look forward to taking part in the choir's next concert at Barkway Church on Saturday 15 February.
