Triggs
Woodforms is part of the Border Applied Crafts group site featuring
architectural crafts workers using wood, glass, stone and metal.
The wood section includes the work of Frank Triggs a woodcarver
/ sculptor with extensive experience of traditional methods and
contemporary innovative techniques. Feature furniture, external
public artwork, expressive architectural carving and relief wood
sculpture are shown. A past commissions list includes such diverse
projects as casting patterns, computer controlled carving, compound
curved laminated ply shells and decorated glue-lam beams. Most
work is done to commission, some pieces are for sale. Imagery
is representational with an ecological theme

Bruce hand crafts a wide variety of attractive, functional willow
baskets in natural colours with a range of uses in the home and
garden. His long association with the countryside gives him an
affinity with his material, some of which he grows himself. His
range of baskets includes log, shopper, egg, fruit, vegetable,
platter, bottle carrier, trug, linen, stick/umbrella, garden,
storage and many more. Commissions welcome - repair service available
- baskets by post - demonstrations and talks - courses and tuition
- gift vouchers - visitors welcome by arrangement.
