This is a listing of micro-breweries in and around the Shakespeare area which have recently closed.
Started on a farm at Inkberrow, Worcs in 1994 by Duncan Parker of the Three Tuns in Alcester. Its beer was Bull's Head Light. In 1995 moved into very small facilities at the rear of the Three Tuns where Genesis (4.0%) was brewed until 1996.

Opened early 1996, brewing ceased temporarily in 1997 during work on a new restaurant extension. Sadly, the subsequent death of Bob Payne brought a permanent end to this promising venture, and the pub is now a Hook Norton house.
Beers included At Last (1035) and FB1 (Feldon Brewery First Brew).
Started October 2004 by Bob & Pam Tweedle with equipment formerly at the Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield. Closed 2006

The first of the new wave of Warwickshire breweries (established May 1992) was bought by chartered surveyor Richard Lewis, who moved the brewery to Birmingham in 2000. GBG01
Beers included M'Lud (3.3%), Barrister's Bitter (3.5%), Verdict (4.0%), Coombe Ale (4.2%), Grey Wig (4.2%), Magistrate's Delight (4.6%), Old Gavel Bender (5.0%), Solicitor's Ruin (5.6%). Occasional beer: Santa's Surprise (5.0%)
Micro brewery at rear of pub in Coten End, Warwick. First brew December 1997: stopped brewing summer 1998 on instructions from owners, Punch Taverns. Brewery equipment still there but not used. Future uncertain.
Ian Hughes brewed in a former bull-pen at his home in Bromsgrove. The Oh Be Joyful (4.6%) was highly rated. In February 1999 Ian sold the brewery to Shropshire micro Worfield, who now brew OBJ. Ian now runs the Ladybird in Aston Fields, Bromsgrove.
Opened July 2003 using a 5-barrel plant from a former Firkin brewhouse in Reading. Shared premises and some operations with Margaret Hall Bakery on the same site. Supplied over 30 outlets. Closed early 2006
Beers included Bakehouse Bitter (3.8%), Two Llocks (4.0%), Rock 'n' Roll (4.2%), Flying Top (4.4%), Old Gridlap (5.0%).
Seasonal beers: Bun in the Oven (3.8%), Fired Up (4.1%), Walsh's Warmer (5.0%)
Located in Princes Drive, Kenilworth, this brewery was in production from December 1995 to September 1997.
