Converted back to a pub in 1999 after many years as Turk's Head Antiques. Bare wooden floors, old furniture, wattle and daub walls and a brick chimney breast combine give this 17th century town house a rustic atmosphere. It is narrow fronted, but extends way back in traditional market town style to a lovely walled garden at the rear. The rear dining room justifies its name of the "Mirror Room". An adventurous range of meals and bar snacks features locally sourced ingredients. May stay open later, but no admission after times shown. Baby changing facilities and toy box available.
