Busy town centre Wetherspoons outlet situated on the High Street by the bus station, offering the widest range of beers in Evesham and the well-known formula of no piped music and excellent value beer and food. The Swanne was an inn in 1586 and went through many changes before opening as a Wetherspoons in late 1998. Evesham Civic Society commended the refurbishment which "transformed a scruffy and derelict building into one which is an asset to the town". Many photographs of old Evesham adorn the walls, together with paintings from earlier times and explanatory texts. Cask Marque accredited, it offers 2-3 guest beers, although the overall range may be smaller mid-week, and hosts several mini-festivals throughout the year. A handy place to pop into after a spot of shopping, there is a children's area up to 6pm (last food orders 5pm), and an outdoor covered and heated smokers' area. Disabled toilets and braille menus available.
Quiet area, Garden, Meals all day, non-smoking area, children's area
