Appreciate this village pub while you still can, for it is a throwback to a bygone age; nothing seemss to have changed since the 60s. Wooden settles are arranged around the walls of the cosy bar, and the music on the jukebox is mostly from the Beatles era. A pool table in the back room is popular with younger folk. No meals, but the freshly made rolls are excellent value. In summer there is a peaceful rear garden overlooking the Warwickshire countryside. The guest beer is usually of highish gravity (4.5%+)and from a small independent brewery. In the Good Beer Guide most years since 1992.
