Traditional country freehouse dating back to the 1700s with its own moorings and a garden leading down to the Avon. It provides a great venue for whiling away those lazy summer afternoons down by the riverside. Known locally as the "Boat", it features a vibrant public bar and has a good reputation for meals produced with locally grown fruit and vegetables, served in a separate restaurant area at the edge of the lounge. Has been awarded Cask Marque accreditation for ale quality, as well as picking up a Gold Award from the Beautiful Beer scheme, which assesses pubs on all aspects of service from the cellar to the table.
