A superb country pub in a small secluded village. Dating back to the 11th century, it is stone built with exposed beams and a flagstone floor. Two log fires supplement the dim lighting. This friendly, family-run local is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a Roundhead from the nearby battle of Edgehill. The cosy snug serves as a children's room, and is also a no-smoking area. Another outlet for Aunt Sally. Disabled access from the rear of the pub.
Real Fire, Childrens room, Garden, Accommodation, Lunches, Eve meals, Wheelchair friendly, non-smoking area
