Re-opened in December 2007 after a two-month refit, this ancient stone-built pub is the only thatched building in Shipston. The licence dates back to 1540, and it brewed illegally before that! Cosy and welcoming lounge with large inglenook and real log fires. Aunt Sally is played here, as are traditional indoor games (crib, darts, & doms).
