A pleasant pub situated on a quiet lane behind the maypole. Single bar is split into two distinct areas. Extensively refurbished in spring 2007 ahead of the smoking ban. An extensive rear garden has a well-equipped play area. Mondays are Chip Shop Night, with Fish & Chips to take away or eat in (5.30 to 9.30). Tuesday lunchtime sees a special offer Senior Citizen lunch and the 2nd Tuesday of the month sees a Song & Music Session.
