Traditional village pub with stone-flagged floors and exposed timbers in idyllic setting facing the extensive village green. The pub is named after John de Mohun (d1376), one of the original Knights of the Garter, who is buried in the nearby church. Popular with locals, and a warm welcome for visitors. Original home of the Wizard brewery, which started here in 2003 before moving to Devon in 2007. Has two holiday cottages and caravanning field attached. An enthusiastic outpost of Aunt Sally as well as dominoes and shove ha'penny. Evening meals Fri/Sat only, no food Mon/Tues. As Shakespeare branch Pub of the Year in 2006, it was also CAMRA's Warwickshire County and West Midlands Regional champion.
