Membership Application Details 2001

Joining Deeside Orienteering Club (DEE) entitles you to receive the club newsletter Deeside News (published bi-monthly), and the North West Orienteering Association (NWOA) newsletter and fixtures list. As a member of DEE you may run in any local or badge event organised by a club in the NWOA. If, in addition, you join the British Orienteering Federation (BOF) you may enter National Events and the British Championships.

You are agreeing to the club Constitution by applying for membership

There are four grades available within each level of membership:

  1. Junior: Individual aged 20 or under at the end of 2001.
  2. Senior: Individual aged 21 or over at the end of 2001.
  3. Family: Husband & wife & any children 18 or under at end of 2001.
  4. Group: Any organisation (e.g. school, Scouts or youth club) wishing to take part in Deeside OC events.
Subscription Rates
Subscription rates shown are those for the 2001 season :-
(Rates apply from 1/10/00 and covers membership until 31/12/01).
Half this price from 1st July to end of the year

IMPORTANT:
For Club only membership, enclose a cheque or P/O payable to "DEESIDE ORIENTEERING CLUB".
For Full (DEE + BOF) membership, enclose a cheque or P/O payable to "BOF".

NOTES:
1. Membership information is kept on computer for administrative purposes. If you have any worries or objections, please contact Barbara Majumdar.
2. Names, addresses, phone numbers, and Orienteering age groups of members are published in the club Address list (distributed to members of the club only). This is to enable organisers of events to find helpers for events, and for club officers to put together teams for relay events, Compass Sport Cup etc.
