Healthy Living Centre |
Since 1998, the Oxford Healthy Living Centre has been working from its suite of counselling rooms and offices on the first floor of Temple Cowley United Reformed Church. Here, the Centre provides a range of complementary therapies and counselling in an environment which, while not requiring any faith allegiance, is one where faith may be taken seriously. |
The vision was and is a concern for physical, emotional and spiritual health linked with best practice in community development and with a deep commitment to the ‘whole person’ approach to human well being. It is managed by a Charitable Trust and, being independent of statutory health care provision, is well placed to foster collaboration. |
Users are asked to pay for services but may be supported by the Fees Assistance scheme. Room rental rates are set to cover running costs and also to make some contribution to this scheme. |
