Electronic crossover boards
These 2-way crossover boards have been designed by Steve Foxwell with evaluation by myself throughout the later part of the design stage. Although previously unimpressed with active crossovers, these actually did sound better! They have a tweeter gain control and in contrast to most other designs, can be adjusted to compensate for frequency fluctuation of the bass/mid drive unit and 24dB per octave roll off.
These active crossovers are utilised in the speaker kits page. Used together with the amp kits, they make excellent music.

You can use this FREE spectrum analyser with your computer's sound card and a microphone with a known frequency response to set up your own speakers. (You will also need the adjuster box for the active crossover frequency shaping plug at £35.00)
